About Our Club

ESTABLISHED 1956

The Club was established in 1956 by a group of English emigrants who aimed to play soccer for recreational purposes. Over the years, the club has experienced significant growth and has expanded its membership to include Senior, Women’s, Junior, and Youth teams.

Over the past 60 years, the Springvale City Football Club has become a notable force in the Victorian football landscape, nurturing many talented players. Notable alumni include Vince Grella, who represented Australia at the 2006 World Cup, former Socceroo and Melbourne Victory player Rodrigo Vargas, and former Melbourne Victory player Ricky Diaco, all of whom emerged from Springvale City in the early 1990s.

Today, the Club serves as a gathering place for families and friends, fostering a strong sense of community and culture.
